About Casco Equine

It all started with the Hoof Care Balm. I ran out of my favourite Hoof Balm & when investigating the ingredients I discovered that it included tallow (beef fat) & petroleum jelly.

I then thought about all the other products I use on my horse & looked closer into what goes into them. I discovered that my favourite serum (a human one I had been using for the mane & tail) had two different types of silicon in it.

It is amazing how eye opening it is when you search out the ingredients in the products you use, if the full ingredients list is actually provided.

Because I want to know what I am putting on my horse it is important to me that Casco Equine is transparent about what goes into the products. You will see a full ingredients list for every product. Along with this I also provide information on the ingredients, which are all human grade that you will find in the products you use on yourself.

I aim to use all natural ingredients in my products but when this isn’t possible you will see all of the ingredients listed on the website & an explanation of their purpose.

I handmake all of the products myself in Brisbane. They have been tested on my own horse before sharing them with others to check they love them too. Everything is made in small batches to ensure the product is fresh when purchased.
