Mane, Tail & Coat Oil contains powerhouse ingredients including:
*Hydrogenated Ethylhexyl Olivate (&) Hydrogenated Olive Oil Unsaponifiables is a naturally derived lightweight emollient made from olive oil. This product is included as it helps to lighten up the oil mix, reduce greasiness, improve the comb-through ability & it adds shine.
Abyssinian Oil is a lightweight oil extracted from the seeds of the Crambe Agyssinica plant. It contains a wealth of vitamins, minerals & antioxidants including omega-3 and 6, Vitamins A, C and E, as well as several B Vitamins. It absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy residue. It has a high level of erucic acid which provides anti-fungal properties.
Almond Oil is highly valued for its excellent emollient, softening & nourishing benefits. It is packed with Vitamins A, B and E, Omega 3, Magnesium, Calcium, Oleic and linoleic Acid. Almond oil is light, easily absorbed & will help nourish & strengthen the mane & tail. Almond oil is also claimed to have powerful antifungal & antibacterial properties.
Argan Oil has a high concentration of oleic, lineoic and essential fatty acids. Argan oil provides powerful conditioning and strengthening benefits to dehydrated hair, as well as excellent moisturising properties to help restore and restructure dry, chapped skin.
Jojoba Oil is rich in essential Vitamins A, B, D and E, antioxidants and fatty acids. Jojoba oil is light, easily absorbed & provides long-lasting moisture & hydration. Jojoba oil has powerful conditioning properties that help keep each strand of hair soft, shiny & hydrated.
Vitamin E is a potent antioxidant & helps protect the skin from environmental damage.
Rose Geranium Essential Oil has a lovely sweet yet floral aroma that has a rosy-herbaceous undertone. It is reported to have properties that work to help the skin’s ability to heal from environmental factors such as UV damage. It is also reported to have anti-inflammatory & analgesic properties.

Direct use on Mane, Tail & Forelock:
Can be used on wet or dry hair.
On dry hair put 3-4 pumps into the palm of your hand. Rub hands together & work the oil through the tail & mane. Brush & detangle. You may need more oil for thicker tails.
On wet hair put 4-5 pumps into the palm of your hand. Rub hands together & work the oil through the tail & mane. Brush & detangle. The oil acts as a conditioner so no need for further products.
The oil will fully absorb into your horses mane & tail, leaving no greasy residue to attract dust & dirt.
Hot oil treatment/wash
Add 6-8 pumps to a litre of warm water. Immerse a cloth into the water & wring out. Work the cloth back & forth over the coat. Repeat until whole coat is cleaned. Finish by smoothing hair back in place.
Direct use on skin
If your horse has a dry patch of skin you can apply a drop of the oil to your palms & apply it to the dry patch. This will help hydrate the skin & coat. Please be cautious of the time of day you do this & that all the oil is absorbed before returning your horse to their paddock.
CAUTION
Avoid contact with your horses eyes.
Whilst this oil is made with natural ingredients it is always a good idea to patch test a new product. Discontinue use if a sensitivity is found.
Store your Mane, Tail & Coat Oil out of direct sunlight & in a cool dry place.
